Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties: Collaborate with diverse application and technology teams to manage a portfolio of multiple franchise-critical and regulatory applications, orchestrating their efficient and compliant deployment across the entire Software Development Life Cycle

Provide comprehensive technical and application support within large data center environments, specifically challenging Tomcat and Apache Product Systems, along with Big Data ecosystems on UNIX. Manage MicroStrategy Intelligence Servers, optimizing performance and refresh numerous large intelligent cubes, and oversee massive Oracle database servers, each comprising eighty terabytes. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment DevOps practices, including process and infrastructure automation, build and deployment automation, and source code repository management utilizing Git, Bitbucket, and GitHub, with end-to-end automation implemented through Jenkins pipelines and hands-on experience with OpenShift for application deployment and debugging.

Essential infrastructure and server maintenance responsibilities, including patching, End-of-Vendor-Support management, tool upgrades, and vulnerability fixes, are executed with a global perspective. Responsible for proactive incident management, rooted in Information Technology Infrastructure Library processes, involving swift diagnosis and resolution of emergent issues within User Acceptance Testing and production environments, providing immediate ad-hoc solutions, meticulously coordinating permanent fixes, and leading issue triage calls across environments. Ensuring adherence to established deployment protocols and the integration of functional components, with zero tolerance for errors or process deviations, rigorously enforcing compliance and audit-readiness.

A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Applications, Information Technology or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer or related position managing multiple franchise-critical applications, from initial requirements gathering through to final production deployment. 6 years of experience must include: Orchestrating the compliant and efficient deployment of changes for multiple franchise-critical and regulatory applications across SDLC; Supporting and managing a matrix of controlled environments; Ensuring that all changes are meticulously aligned across development, support, operations, and business teams; Organizing functional and code walkthroughs to secure consensus, encompassing the review of Jira sign-offs, creating precise change and task plans, and coordinating the approval of Critical Request documents from multiple stakeholders; Lead triage efforts to resolve issues swiftly, ensure adherence to Green Zone policies, and oversee post-validation activities, all while following compliance guidelines to meet regulatory commitments efficiently; Streamlining the software development lifecycle by automating processes, managing infrastructure, and orchestrating build and deployment pipelines working on Git, Bitbucket, and GitHub for source code management; Designing and maintaining robust Jenkins pipelines for end-to-end automation; Leveraging expertise with OpenShift for efficient application deployment, monitoring, and debugging, directly contributing to faster development cycles and more reliable systems; Providing comprehensive technical and application support within large data center environments; and MicroStrategy Intelligence Servers, optimizing performance and refreshes of numerous large intelligent cubes, and overseeing massive Oracle database servers.
