Job Description

The Global Website Applications Manager is responsible for the operational ownership, optimization, and governance of Fluke's customer-facing web applications and thirdparty integrations. This role ensures platforms are reliable, secure, compliant, and optimized to support growth, experimentation, analytics, and customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own operational ownership of Fluke's web application ecosystem (experimentation, analytics/insights, site search, AI chat, reviews, and commerce integrations), ensuring the stack works together to support customer experience and conversion outcomes.
  • Ensure stability, performance, security, and compliance across supported platforms through proactive monitoring and rapid triage to protect critical customer journeys and business operations.
  • Partner with IT and Digital Marketing on integrations, upgrades, and technical roadmaps, aligning platform work to intake processes, dependencies, and release sequencing across the broader website roadmap.
  • Administer and optimize core platforms including FullStory, Optimizely, Algolia, Fluke Assistant, Bazaarvoice, Survicate, Salsify, and Shopify-owning configuration standards, access controls, and day-to-day upkeep to ensure reliable insights and performance.
  • Lead vendor management and accountability for licensing, renewals, and SLAs, ensuring partners meet support expectations and renewal decisions reflect adoption, performance, and roadmap needs.
  • Maintain documentation, standard work, and access governance, creating durable playbooks for platform administration, intake/escalation, and configuration controls that scale across a global stakeholder base.
  • Evaluate and rationalize tools via pilots and sunsetting decisions, using clear criteria (impact, integration effort, measurement value, cost, maintainability) to guide investment and simplification without disrupting key journeys.
  • Drive clear stakeholder communications during incidents/outages/degradation, coordinating with IT and vendors through resolution and ensuring status, impact, and next steps are communicated consistently until restored.
  • Support releases, upgrades, and configuration changes by partnering with IT and vendors and following SDLC/change management practices, ensuring testing, documentation, and postrelease validation are consistently executed.
  • Balance run vs. change work by prioritizing day-to-day support alongside strategic enhancements, making tradeoffs explicit when capacity or dependencies create risk to outcomes.
  • Apply Fortive Business System (FBS) problem-solving and CI to reduce recurring issues, strengthen platform reliability, and sustain measurable improvements tied to experience outcomes and performance drivers.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing web applications and/or martech platforms in a high-traffic, customer-facing environment, with hands-on responsibility for platform administration and ongoing optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a web application ecosystem spanning experimentation, analytics/session replay, site search, chatbot/AI chat, customer reviews, CSAT, PIM, and eCommerce integrations.
  • Strong understanding of web architecture and integrations, including tag-based implementations, APIs, data flows, and cross-platform measurement integrity.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with IT, Security, UX, Analytics, and Marketing on integrations, upgrades, and technical roadmaps.
  • Experience leading vendor management end-to-end: licensing, renewals, roadmap alignment, and SLA accountability.
  • Working knowledge of privacy, security, and governance requirements for web platforms, including GDPR, consent management, accessibility, and security/compliance expectations.
  • Strong operational discipline: documentation, standard work, access governance, and ability to scale repeatable processes across a global stakeholder set.
  • Experience managing incidents/outages/platform degradation with clear stakeholder communications and coordinated resolution with IT and vendors.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and change management practices to support releases, upgrades, and configuration changes while balancing "run" vs "change" work.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with datasets to drive data-informed decisions and continuous optimization.
  • Experience evaluating new tools, managing pilots, and making platform rationalization/sunsetting recommendations.
  • Hands-on administration experience with one or more of the platforms referenced in the role scope, such as FullStory, Optimizely, Algolia, Fluke Assistant (AI Chatbot), Bazaarvoice, Survicate, Salsify, and Shopify (or equivalent tools in each category).
  • Strong communication skills (written + verbal) with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and maintain calm, clear updates during incidents.
  • Ability to work globally across time zones with high-performing teams; strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to drive measurable improvements in quality, speed, reliability, and customer experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
