With a history dating back to 1888, Overton Chicago Gear (OCG) manufactures large, high-precision gears designed for demanding applications in industries such as oil and gas, minerals and mining, rail, renewable energy, power generation, and infrastructure. Our products are known for their durability and reliability in harsh operating environments. We offer custom gears in various profiles, including herringbone, bevel, helical, spur, and double enveloping worm gears, as well as gearboxes. OCG employs over 200 people across three manufacturing facilities in the Chicago area and is committed to providing world-class products and excellent customer service.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineering Manager located in the Greater Chicago Area. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the engineering team, overseeing development, integrating various engineering processes, and managing projects from inception to completion. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the team meets technical requirements and delivery schedules, while also working closely with other departments to support the company's objectives.
