POSITION SUMMARY 

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Technical Sales Intern to join our Technical Sales team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales support, business development, and cross-functional collaboration at the intersection of engineering, business, and customer solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to explore how innovative technologies are applied to solve real-world challenges, create value for customers, and support business growth.

You'll work alongside experienced technical and sales professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop a deeper understanding of how technical expertise and business strategy come together to deliver impactful solutions. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented student who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in a technical field or have previous technical sales experience, with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers, Field Sales Engineers, and Offering Managers to help develop and optimize new sales tools and processes. 
  • Support the research, development, and maintenance of product knowledge bases and sales enablement materials.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Observe, learn, and execute key sales support processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in sales meetings, product training sessions, and cross-functional team discussions.
  • Prepare professional sales presentations, customer proposals, and supporting documentation to assist the sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Industrial Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and business concepts effectively.
  3. Strong work ethic with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  4. Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities to solve problems and support data-driven decision-making.
  5. Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
