Job description

Zilliant Inc. in Austin, TX seeks Application Consultant. Responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Zilliant's pricing and revenue management software applications for enterprise clients. Acts as the bridge between business users and technical teams by translating complex client requirements into scalable data-driven solutions. Engage with client stakeholders to understand business objectives and provide guidance on the configuration of pricing and analytics applications based on in-depth product knowledge. Execute extensive data transformations including cleansing, preparation, normalization, enrichment, and formatting using SQL (T-SQL), Python, and ETL tools to prepare structured datasets for use in analytics models and application workflows. Design and implement relational data models and schemas in SQL Server and NoSQL environments, including ER modeling, foreign key relationships, and data indexing for performance. Apply advanced analytics techniques such as non-linear regression, resampling methods, and predictive modeling (e.g., demand forecasting, customer segmentation) using Python, leveraging libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, and NumPy, to support pricing optimization and margin analysis. Develop, configure, and tune pricing models and business rules in Zilliant's platform to automate pricing logic, simulate pricing scenarios, and improve pricing precision. Build and deploy data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, enabling stakeholders to monitor key metrics, validate pricing outcomes, and interpret model behavior through data storytelling. Implement and troubleshoot customer-specific configurations, managing deployment and adoption lifecycles. Maintain continuous documentation of transformation logic, configuration decisions, and analytics workflows to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and successful knowledge transfer. Actively support client adoption and long-term success through iterative enhancements, data quality validation, and performance optimization of deployed applications. 100% telecommuting from home allowed from anywhere in the United States.
