Job Description
We are looking for a talented IT Technical Analyst- Senior to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate organization in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear, reusable solution designs that align with enterprise architecture, security, and performance standards.
  • Deliver robust application and infrastructure designs by evaluating and selecting the most viable solutions, balancing commercial-off-the-shelf products and custom development.
  • Accelerate delivery timelines and reduce costs by leveraging component reuse, standardization, and automation across build and deployment processes.
  • Partner closely with infrastructure teams, developers, and technical service providers to ensure designs are clearly understood and executed to specification.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery by participating in design and code reviews, validating adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
  • Strengthen testing outcomes by supporting test strategy development and execution to confirm solutions meet functional, performance, and scalability expectations.
  • Improve system reliability and maintainability by analyzing existing applications and infrastructure to identify remediation opportunities and continuous improvements.
  • Support business continuity by providing level 3 technical support for critical issues and contributing to clear documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Configuration - Configures, creates and tests a solution for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Design - Creates and defines the solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models and documentation in order to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Modeling - Creates, designs and formulates models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Validation Testing - Validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.

  • 3-5 years of experience.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:

  • Nasuni: Extensive experience with Nasuni Cloud NAS platform for file storage and cloud data management.
  • NetApp: Strong expertise in managing and optimizing NetApp storage solutions, including ONTAP, MetroCluster, and AFF systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of NAS protocols (NFS, SMB, CIFS), storage networking, and SAN/NAS environments.
  • Experience with cloud integration and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes, including NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault, and other related technologies.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolving complex storage-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of storage security best practices, including encryption, access control, and data loss prevention.
  • Solid scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for managing NAS systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize Nasuni and NetApp storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain storage solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for NAS infrastructure, including both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Monitor and manage storage capacity, utilization, and performance metrics, proactively addressing issues before they impact operations.
  • Lead efforts in capacity planning, data migration, and backup/recovery strategies using Nasuni and NetApp platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all NAS environments.
  • Work closely with the IT team to implement best practices and align with industry standards for storage and data content management.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal use and compliance purposes.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members as needed.
