BMO is currently sourcing for an Application Support Manager.
This is a hybrid contract role in New York City (3 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The Application Support Manager will be responsible for executing FICC Trade Support activities specifically for Commodity products, ensuring accurate trade booking, validation, and reconciliation. This role supports the introduction of new products and processes, maintains regulatory compliance, and fosters strong relationships with trading desks and operations teams to enhance business performance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute assigned on-desk trade support activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Book, validate, and amend trades using Endur; review discrepancies and follow up with clients.
  • Support resolution of trade exceptions and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Participate in analysis, testing, and implementation of new products, technology, or processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support FICC Trade Supp
    • ort activities.
    • Identify and escalate potential risk situations; ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
    • Contribute to documentation, contingency planning, and continuous improvement of operational processes.

    Must-Have Skills:
    • 3+ years of financial services industry experience.
    • Strong knowledge of Financial Products including Commodities (energy and metals), Fixed Income, and Interest Rate Derivatives.
    • Understanding of Financial Markets and regulatory oversight bodies.
    • Proficiency with trade booking and reconciliation systems, particularly Endur.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
    • Knowledge of risk management,
      • compliance, and regulatory requirements.

      Nice to Have Skills:
      • Experience with product operations and capital markets trading desks.
      • Familiarity with business continuity and contingency planning.
      • Exposure to stakeholder forums related to project delivery, technology, regulatory, and risk.

      Ideal Candidate:
      • Demonstrated ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
