Northrop Grumman in the Strategic Deterrence Systems (SDS) Division has an opening for a Supply Chain Operations Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Division team. This leadership position will be located onsite in Roy, UT.

The selected manager should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Essential Functions:

Accountable for the management, strategy, integration, planning, and execution of Global Supply Chain (GSC) operations - inclusive of GSC ERP1 Expertise and Performance Metrics/Tools, Indirect Project Management, GSC Business Management/Forecasting, Executive support to the division GSC Director, and Liaison to sector on GSC digital transformation initiatives.

Acts as a focal point for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Division team and Global Supply Chain Team Functions. Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed to address any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities related to Division supply chain team responsibilities.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Division Staffing support to all SDS programs

  • Conducting periodic performance evaluations, including mid-year and annual reviews for all Direct Reports

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to staff

  • Ensuring professional development and mentoring of direct reports

  • Managing indirect and capital project needs

  • Facilitating and implementing supply chain tools, metrics, reporting, and processes to include data analytic resources (via tools) and supporting digital transformation initiatives

  • Developing requirements for data visualizations, analyses, decision support systems/databases and driving use of data to support key business decisions

  • Communicating key project status information to stakeholders and customers and incorporates feedback into data products based on these interactions

  • Overseeing up GSC Business Management organization in support of SDS programs and facilitating financial acumen comprehension across Global Supply Chain functional teams (buyers, planners, GSC program managers, etc)

  • Deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and manage multiple tasks while supporting the division senior GSC Director

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience; 6 years with a Masters in operations, supply chain, business, or program management

  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.

  • Strong business acumen to support analysis of supplier impacts on business unit financials for both externally and internally funded scope

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance

  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Minimum of 4 years in a formal lead/management position

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to achieve projects cost, performance, and schedule requirements

  • Digital transformation - use of data analytics tools and techniques to drive supply chain strategies and performance

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Experience working on development, production and/or sustainment programs/projects

  • SAP experience

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS

Primary Level Salary Range: $137,800.00 - $206,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
