Job Responsibilities
  • The Application Developer will develop, deploy, and maintain Pathology department platform for computational pathology and biomedical research. The position is responsible for building software applications, data pipelines, and AI-enabled tools that support whole-slide image analysis, multimodal data integration, and clinical research workflows. The Application Developer will work closely with researchers and clinicians to translate innovative AI methods into scalable and user-friendly software solutions.
  • Position is contingent upon funding

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
    Experience with software development using Python, Next.JS, electron, and modern software engineering practices.
    Familiarity with web application development, databases, APIs, and version control systems.
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
