Our mission is simple: help send mothers and infants home healthy.
The Infant Care team develops innovative technologies that support clinicians caring for newborns and mothers in critical care environments worldwide. We build safe, reliable, and connected medical devices that enable life-saving clinical care every day.
In this role you will develop clinician-facing software used to monitor, manage, and care for some of healthcare's most vulnerable patients. You will create intuitive user experiences, real-time patient monitoring displays, clinical workflows, and service tools that support caregivers and biomedical technicians every day. Your work will directly impact patient safety, caregiver efficiency, and the quality of care delivered to newborns and mothers around the world.
Job Description

NICU clinicians rely on our devices 24 hours a day to monitor patient status, manage therapy settings, and respond to critical events.
The software you build will:

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking experienced software engineers with strengths in one or more of the following areas:
  • Qt/QML application development
  • C++ software engineering
  • User interface and user experience development
  • Desktop or embedded application development
  • Real-time visualization and monitoring systems
  • Industrial, healthcare, automotive, aerospace, or other high-reliability software systems

Medical device experience is preferred but not required.
We value strong software engineering fundamentals, collaboration skills, and a passion for building high-quality products that solve meaningful problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create intuitive workflows that support clinical users in NICU and Labor & Delivery environments.
  • Develop real-time displays for patient parameters, trends, alarms, and device status.
  • Translate user experience designs into production-quality software.
  • Collaborate with Human Factors, Systems Engineering, Clinical, and Product teams to improve usability and workflow efficiency.

Service Application Development
  • Develop service and diagnostic tools used by field engineers and biomedical technicians.
  • Support software upgrade, calibration, diagnostics, logging, and configuration workflows.
  • Build backend application services supporting data management and device functionality.
  • Contribute to device configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Software Quality and Reliability
  • Develop automated tests, unit tests, and verification artifacts.
  • Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
  • Support software verification, validation, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Investigate and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Contribute to application reliability, maintainability, and cybersecurity improvements.
