Job Description

Senior level Architect responsible for: 

Planning, configuration, ordering and implementation of all new Mainframe and Data Warehouse hardware. This includes DASD, Tape, pSeries and zSeries hardware along with cabling and data center infrastructure and the Windows/Linux servers used to support the environment. 

Work with and across the following teams - Hardware Planners, zOS programmers/IO Configuration, Server Administrators, Automations, and Data Center Facilities on new hardware installations. 

Coordinate hardware and software installations with the technical teams. 

Creates the annual and quarterly forecasts for hardware spending for the Target Account. 

Gathers all the hardware component configurations and initiates the process for hardware and software ordering. 

Supports the TKE and TKLM Servers and processes. 

Maintains software licenses for the pSeries software  

Lead and participate in projects.
