Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a Technical Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI. This role will program manage Epics and the Delivery Program, such as Scrum of Scrums, across HR and Law & Public Affairs delivery teams. The position involves planning, coordinating, and actively managing the technical delivery plans for complex, cross-functional technical digital product solutions that span multiple technical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive specific aspects of a larger program with medium complexity.
  • Make connections across teams to identify and manage inter-dependencies.
  • Define the program structure and create a single, unified plan to deliver on program objectives.
  • Establish clarity on objectives, priorities, and measures.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, and remove impediments.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives and provide thought leadership.
  • Solve unique problems with broad impact on the business, using conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
  • Impact the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of four years of program management experience in technology and/or business functions is required. Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using various delivery methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, lean, scrum) and SDLC is necessary. Portfolio management and maintenance experience, including epics oversight, is also required.

  • An understanding of how software is developed, tested, and implemented, as well as technical concepts, is needed. The role requires the ability to work with stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and business leaders. Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail are important.
