Work as a member of the Vulnerability Management Team, responsible for performing all aspects of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Intune planning, setup, deployment, and maintenance related to Vulnerability Management and Patching. The Vulnerability Management Specialist position is responsible for planning and execution of maintenance, upgrades, operation, and configuration for all workstation hardware and software patching and updates. This position is US Remote telework and US citizenship is required.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Implementation, administration and configuration of SCCM/Intune Enterprise environment.
  • Packages, tests and applies patches and security updates for all supported Operating Systems
  • Packages, tests and applies patches and security updates for all supported third party applications
  • Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration, SCCM/Intune hierarchy and design troubleshooting
  • Packaging, deployment, configuration baselines, installation and administration of all approved software.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and strategic recommendations to other IT groups.
  • Develop, implement, and promote standard operating procedures and schedules.
  • Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of IT architecture and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software and hardware vulnerability management.
  • Familiar with principles and best practices related to SCCM, Azure and Intune Policy Management.
  • Proficient in completing daily assignments and project activities with great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, good judgment, and an ability to act decisively.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision to independently stay on task.
  • Ability to suggest system and process improvements and optimize existing procedures to maximize efforts.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tenable One Vulnerability Management
  • Strong knowledge with the following:
    • Latest version of SCCM CB
    • Office 365 application usage
    • Intune/Azure experience
    • Current version of Windows OS in the areas of deployment and patch distribution
    • Windows 11 desktop feature upgrades (MDT, OSD, Office suite migrations)
    • Application packaging & scripting (InstallShield and/or PatchMyPC experience preferred)
    • Desktop patching
    • Intune Policy management
    • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting (emphasis on handling application installs/uninstalls)

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in an area applicable to this position (e.g., information systems, computer science, math, or engineering).
  • Five years of relevant technical experience performing mid-level systems administration activities.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant technical experience with SCCM and Intune.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

  • Extended hours of computer use.

Compensation Details:

$80k -100k
