What You’ll Do

As a Yard Jockey/Package Handler at Shipoom, you’ll wear multiple hats to keep our logistics operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Docking and removing incoming trailers when needed.
  • Operating a warehouse tractor to move trailers with minimal movement required.
  • Unloading, sorting, and staging products in designated areas.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.

This role combines yard jockey duties with warehouse tasks, so you’ll be active throughout your shift.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • A Commercial Driver License (CDL) A (required).
  • At least 1 year of experience operating trailers.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center (preferred).
  • The ability to team lift, lower, and slide packages up to 100 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout your entire shift. Open and weekend availability is a must.
