What is a warehouse worker?

Warehouse workers are employees responsible for handling goods and materials within a warehouse or distribution center. Their main duties include receiving shipments, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. They may also operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks and are expected to follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Warehouse workers play a crucial role in ensuring that products move efficiently through the supply chain.

These competencies ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What are some common challenges warehouse workers face during peak seasons, and how can they effectively manage these periods?

During peak seasons, warehouse workers often experience increased workloads, tighter deadlines, and higher pressure to meet shipping targets.
