As the Product Manager, you will provide expert technical application support, analyze special product designs, own product offering roadmap and set direction of the application training programs for internal and external customers. Maintain and create new relationships with representative network and sales channels on product offering.
What you'll be doing:
  • Provide assistance to product support team on advanced technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external customers in the areas of selection and application.
  • Establish and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to prioritize projects and set focus aligning with long-term product roadmap strategy for the business unit.
  • Provide direction in the resolution of complex application challenges.
  • Determine the need for onsite application engineering field support.
  • Responsible for negotiating with internal and external customers to find mutually beneficial solutions to field problems.
  • Participate in industry codes and standard committees to influence industry direction. Use knowledge to guide business unit strategy.
  • Responsible for highlighting and communicating key selling points of our current products for delivery to our sales teams and customers.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of the product road map.
  • Continually evaluate our competition to further enhance the company's market place, and use this knowledge to maintain and extend the company's advantage in associated markets.
  • Responsible for creating training themes and message to be communicated by the application and product teams.
  • Attend offsite events and conduct customer, competitor and supplier interactions.
  • Collaborate with business unit leadership in strategic planning process.
  • Report on market trends, opportunities, and issues within the industry and investigate alternative channel opportunities to expand our business.
  • Responsible for the supervision and development of the business unit customer support and applications teams.
  • Monitor and set direction for pricing levels to control volume and achieve targeted profit levels.
  • Create and maintain sales forecasts.
  • Develop, propose, and manage department costs to target budget.
  • Maintain and create new relationships with rep network and sales channels on product offering.

What you should have:
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory or managerial role required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree required, in engineering or equivalent years of job experience required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The compensation for this role includes base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional variable compensation based on achieving specific performance metrics. The starting base pay range for this position is $140,250-$178,453 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
