Summary:
The Application Administrator will provide installation, configuration, maintenance, training, and support of key production critical applications such as NetSuite, Tulip, Domo, etc. This position reports directly to the Application Manager. This role ensures application performance, security, and reliability while collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and business users to optimize application functionality. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, test, and maintain enterprise applications solutions successfully through production ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize applications effectively.
Develop and monitor reporting dashboards to provide production metric insights while ensuring data validity.
Develop and maintain internal technical process documentation.
Collaborate with IT and external consulting partners to ensure successful software updates and patches.
Security & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with company security policies and industry regulations.
Implement application security measures, including access controls, and risk mitigation of critical data.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and improvements.
Assist in application integrations with other enterprise systems.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application Management.
Required Experience:
Understanding manufacturing and inventory operations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external technical consultants.
Strong communication skills to effectively train users and explain technical concepts.
Proficiency in relevant manufacturing software applications (ERP, MES, PLM, QMS, BI).
High attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in database management and SQL querying
Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree-Computer Science or Engineering or Information Systems or Finance/Accounting degree
Advanced experience can replace formal education.
Work Environment:
This role works within an office and industrial environment. Applicant must be willing to wear PPE to include safety glasses, appropriate footwear, safety vests and other PPE as required. The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing, and sitting. This position is onsite, Monday through Friday, with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
