About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Application Engineer to serve as the main point of contact for customer technical questions and field support. In this role, you'll work closely with our R&D, Quality, and Product Design teams in China to communicate technical specifications, product performance, reliability, and compliance requirements. You'll help troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and support our customers with timely solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Recent college graduate with an Engineering, Technical, or related scientific degree, or equivalent practical technical background.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Demonstrated baseline or advanced technical writing and documentation skill sets.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain poise under high-pressure customer environments.
  • High personal and professional ethics, with confidence and integrity to uphold strict compliance frameworks.
  • Enthusiastic about joining a fast-paced manufacturing site in the rapidly growing renewable energy and power generation industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer & Field Support: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding module racking configurations, mechanical load design criteria, and general technical inquiries.
  • Warranty & Claims Management: Coordinate the technical investigation and evaluation of field warranty issues, field performance claims, and technical anomalies; interface closely with internal quality engineering groups to resolve problems.
  • Audits & Compliance: Assist in coordinating, scheduling, and hosting factory audits for customers, independent engineers (IEs), and regulatory or certification bodies to effectively demonstrate manufacturing compliance and quality standards.
  • R&D Collaboration: Partner actively with our R&D and product design teams in China to analyze module and racking structural performance, track field reliability data, and drive product improvements.
  • Technical Documentation: Author, revise, and catalog precise technical documentation, product data sheets, installation manuals, safety updates, and customer-facing technical correspondence in both English and Chinese.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
