Fulton Group N.A. is a multinational boiler manufacturer with a variety of market leading products. The company is located in Pulaski, NY which is a short commute from Syracuse, just 30min from the 481-81 interchange.
The Co-op program at Fulton is a great opportunity for students to work with a multidisciplinary team and gain experience. Fulton touches many aspects of engineering, from combustion technology to electrical systems to heat transfer to turbomachinery.
The R&D Embedded Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that automate and optimize boiler processes. This role involves creating software to interface with hardware such as PLCs, microcontrollers, and sensors, as well as developing control algorithms to regulate system behavior. The engineer ensures that all components work together seamlessly, performs testing and debugging, and integrates software with electrical and mechanical systems. Additionally, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions that meet project requirements and industry standards.
