Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

As a Software Engineer II, you will take on complex engineering responsibilities -owning features, contributing to design decisions, and mentoring earlycareer engineers. You will operate within an agile team and build productionready systems with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and cloudnative development.
What you'll do
  • Design, develop, and maintain highquality software applications that meet user story requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Own mediumsized features from design through production release, independently breaking down work.

  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and endtoend tests; contribute to the ongoing improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

  • Build reliable, scalable cloudnative services using AWS services, following best practices in security and observability.

  • Implement mobile and/or crossplatform application features using Dart and Flutter, delivering performant and maintainable UI and business logic.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; participate in oncall rotations if applicable.

  • Provide technical guidance to Software Engineer I team members; conduct code reviews and share engineering best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps partners in an agile environment.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute insights to help evolve our architecture and engineering practices.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field; or a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field with no degree.

  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments.

  • Strong, handson AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, serverless frameworks, or similar).

  • Proficiency in at least one backend or fullstack language (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python or similar).

  • Experience building RESTful APIs, services, or distributed systems.

  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles: objectoriented design, test automation, CI/CD, debugging, and performance considerations.

  • Experience working in agile environments and contributing to design discussions.

  • Atlanta based Candidates Only - In Office 2 days a week required.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience designing scalable, cloudnative architectures or serverless applications.

  • Familiarity with container services (Docker, ECS, EKS) or infrastructureascode (Terraform/CDK).

  • Professional experience coding with Dart and Flutter (mobile, crossplatform, or internal tooling).

  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with mobile deployment pipelines (e.g., Firebase App Distribution, TestFlight).

  • Exposure to AIassisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, etc.), especially in production or experimentation contexts.

  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small development initiatives.
