Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, provides application engineering support for the development, implementation, and optimization of ETI's component products and services, including vacuum pumps, dry pumps, abatement systems, and related semiconductor equipment. Serves as a technical resource for customers, field service engineers, technicians, and internal teams by providing product selection guidance, application recommendations, troubleshooting assistance, and root cause analysis. Supports the diagnosis, repair, debugging, and continuous improvement of complex electro-mechanical and chemical systems to maintain high levels of equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide, present, and interpret design, application, and service information, and make presentations on all aspects of ETI Components Vacuum and Abatement Products. (Essential)
  • Assist sales staff in assessing the potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications and data by communicating with other offices of Ebara worldwide. (Essential)
  • Provide technical applications and marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex operating systems. (Essential)
  • Provide support to Sales, Marketing, and Field Service regarding product specification, selection, and part numbers. (Essential)
  • Implement detailed customer installation plans and assist. (Essential)
  • Work on problems of limited scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. (Essential)
  • Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications. (Essential)

Education
