What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors
OHM Advisors is seeking a Project Manager to help lead and expand our civil engineering services in our St. Petersburg office. While our local team is currently anchored by a strong and growing MEP group, you will collaborate closely with experienced civil engineering teams across OHM Advisors to deliver site development and municipal infrastructure projects throughout the Tampa Bay region.
This role offers the opportunity to manage meaningful projects, build client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of civil engineering services locally, supported by OHM's multidisciplinary teams and established technical resources across the firm. You will play an important role in project leadership while helping strengthen OHM Advisors' presence in the region as our St. Petersburg office continues to grow.
Your Responsibilities
  • Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful project delivery and strong client relationships.
  • Lead project teams, including engineers and technical staff across multiple OHM Advisors offices.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful and efficient delivery.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record when applicable and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers within the St. Petersburg office.
  • Support proposal development, client engagement, and continued growth of civil engineering services in the region.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment focused on technical excellence and long-term growth.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida (required).
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development and/or municipal infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Florida permitting processes.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Interest in contributing to the continued growth of civil engineering services in the Tampa Bay region.
