AVIBE is a locally‑owned, full‑service web solutions firm seeking a true nerd to join our team. Due to sustained growth, we have a number of new openings for Web Developers of all levels!

What You'll Do

As a web developer, you will develop and implement unique web‑based applications that matter to real businesses using them everyday. You will get to know our clients, understand their needs, and shape the “how” of solutions. You will work alongside a small group of developers focused on innovative projects to better provide “next tech” development solutions to our web services clients using the tools and technologies that make the most sense for the client.

Responsibilities
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Integrate data from various back‑end services and databases.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Create and maintain software documentation.
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our client's site.
  • Keep up‑to‑date on web developments trends and apply them into operations and activities.
  • Additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • You have an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related major such as Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics.
  • You are proficient in HTML and CSS; you also have some experience with more advanced programming languages—JAVA, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery.
  • Experience with one or more front end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue is a plus.
  • You possess a clear understanding of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
  • You have the ability to work and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  • You have a strong desire to work in a team‑driven, customer‑focused environment and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
  • You possess excellent organizational and time‑management abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.
