We are looking for a Sprayer focused Mobile Mechanic to join our team at our Norfolk location.
Responsibilities of a Mobile Mechanic:
  • Coordinate with Commercial & Application Support Manager to schedule and complete field based customer service calls
  • Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Application equipment, Agriculture equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products
  • Provide customers with excellent customer service
  • Participate in service training programs required for the development of mechanical skills and knowledge
  • Drive successful machine inspection campaign - grow inspection business
  • Perform complex diagnostics on Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products on location
  • Support customers and AKRS employees with machine setup and optimization

Requirements of a Mobile Mechanic:
  • 5+ years of experience performing service repairs, preferably specific to Ag Retail
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
  • Expert knowledge of CAN Bus, AMS, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment
  • Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
  • A valid driver's license is required
