Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for an Application Developer to support Dept of the Navy at the Pentagon
Responsibilities
  • Serve as principal web-based developer and provide primary design and functionality enhancements.
  • Provide Webmaster functions, updates to website content, reevaluation and enhancement of website functionality, verifying website links, and verifying compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
  • Analyze software upgrades and provide recommendations for implementation.
  • Assist with DoD/DON statutory and regulatory requirements for IT portfolio management in all life cycle stages.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
  • Must have an active Secret clearance. US Citizenship is required.
  • 2+ years of C# and/or Java development.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications and tools using ASP.NET C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Java, Microsoft SQL, and XML; 2+ years of experience debugging and modifying existing applications in various programming languages.
  • 2+ years of experience scanning applications with application security testing tools such as Fortify.
  • Security+ certification is required
  • Working knowledge of implementing Application Security and Development Security STIGs and DoD policies in systems/applications.
