Responsibilities include:

  • Development and maintenance of COBOL programs supporting life insurance systems
  • Working with CyberLife (or similar life insurance platforms) for policy, billing, and claims processing
  • Debugging, performance tuning, and production support
  • Collaborating with business analysts and QA on requirements and testing

Required experience:

  • Strong COBOL development experience in a mainframe environment (z/OS)
  • Background in life insurance systems, highly preferred CyberLife
  • Experience with JCL, VSAM/DB2, and batch/online processing

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to modernization or integration with distributed systems
