Scope
Working in coordination with the Fermilab team, the scope of work for On-demand PeopleSoft applications support includes the following:
  • Theconsultant will be expected to design, code, test, and implementmodifications to the PeopleSoft application as assigned.
  • Assistwith troubleshooting configuration, integration issues and other day today operational support activities.
  • Providebusiness process improvements and/or configurations.
  • Provideadvisory support services including guidance on issues and solutionguidance.
  • ShareProcess analysis and design documentation.
  • Providetechnical support for PeopleSoft Tax updates, Open Enrollment, W2processing, Integrations, patching and upgrade activities.
  • Knowledgetransfer pertaining to the resolution of an issue and provide insight onhow Fermilab may troubleshoot similar issues in the future.
  • Workon service desk tickets and change requests to resolve data issues andproblems in timely manner.
  • Abilityto work with users to resolve issues.
  • Maintaindata integrity while performing requested duties.
  • Providesample testing scenarios for enhancements and defects.
  • Providetraining to users as needed.

Requirements
  • Resourcewill have a minimum of 10 years development experience as PeopleSoftSystems/Developer Analyst using an Oracle database.
  • Theconsultant will have strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM v9.2modules including HR, North American Payroll, Base Benefits andCompensation modules. Experience with applications such as employeeself-service (ePay, eProfile, eBen) is also necessary.
  • Theconsultant will have strong technical skills in People Tools 8.5xincluding Application Designer, People code, Integration Broker andApplication messaging, Application Engine, Data Mover, PS Query, ComponentInterface, Process Scheduler.
  • Thesuccessful candidate will also have strong competencies in SQL, PL/SQL,SQRs, Oracle Discoverer and BI Publisher Reports, Windows and Linux, UNIXshell scripting, system administration including PeopleSoft InternetArchitecture, Application Server and Web server configuration.
  • Experiencewith Tax Update related activities in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 includingcustomizations to COBOL or SQR's

Experience with PeopleSoft v9.2 Enterprise HCM Person Model and Non-Employees, Benefits Open Enrollment.
  • Niceto have experience working with the new PS 9.2 Employee Self-Service FluidInterface.
  • Theproposed resource(s) should have strong written and oral communicationskills.
  • Highlydesirable skills include knowledge of ITIL processes.
