Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other engineering related field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Experience:
  • Six (6) years of experience in C4ISR related programs but might be able to substitute C4ISR for other relevant experience.
  • Lead/Sr. Front End Developer experience
  • Vue programming skills.
  • Wireframe development experience.
  • HTML 5/JavaScript/CSS coding experience.
  • Maven experience for build development.
  • Familiar with coding security best practices and implementation.
  • Experience with web service development.
  • Typescript development (Javascript comparable)
  • RESTful API design and integration

Job Description:
Seeking an application developer to support the Marine Corps' Signal Intelligence Systems (SIS) group to develop mission planning tools. The position will be responsible for creating and modifying Graphical User Interface (GUI) components and web page design. Candidate must be capable of creating Application Programming Interface (API) connections to database information that will be presented in the GUI. Applications will be developed inside of multiple Docker containers and will interact with components existing in other containers as well as external data feeds.
Essential Duties of the Job:
  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
