ETC is hiring interns for the summer of 2027!

Some of the duties you may be doing:
• Performs assigned project tasks under direct supervision of more senior-level engineers
• Participates in the development effort under the direction of management and more senior team members
• Makes design modifications or improvements to development projects with supervision
• Maintains project reference documentation
• Develops test and verification procedures
• May be involved in continuing engineering maintenance and manufacturing floor support of existing products
• Provides task completion time estimates
• Become familiar with tools and applications utilized by department
• Assists with design or modification of a product, service, or process
• Some knowledge of design principles such as DFA, DFM, tolerancing, and drafting standards
• Some knowledge of various parts production & assembly methods
• Ability to generate hand sketches to communicate design ideas
• Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Junior or Senior year or have taken relevant courses in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-2 years post high school education in area of specialization
• GPA: 3.0 or higher
