JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Application Developer II

Department: Information Technology

Reports To: Director of Application Development

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Date: March 01, 2025

Summary/Objective: The Application Developer II contribute to the success of the Information Technology team by developing, supporting, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting the KM application systems. The Application Developer II conducts systems analysis, development, and routine application maintenance and should be experienced in application design and database systems. The position relies on a strong technical aptitude and sound judgment to accomplish goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be fluent in the .NET platform using C#, WPF, ASP.NET MVC.

Experience working with Blazor, and MAUI.

Can develop solutions to meet requirements outlined in user stories with minimal support.

Should have experience working with Microsoft SQL Server - writing queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, etc.

Must have experience in version control systems and concepts.

Ability to design scalable and efficient software solutions from user requirements.

Analyze, enhance, develop, modify and test business applications and reporting functions to ensure they meet business requirements.

Ability to scope and estimate the number of hours for new project requests.

Work with users to support business applications and investigate operation problems or system requirements and/or reporting needs.

Provide programming support for existing applications.

Perform peer code reviews

Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language as well as write comprehensive documentation.

Comply with the established policies (General, Security of Information, Compliance) and Standards of conduct established by KM2. Your duties will include but not be restricted to the above.

Other responsibilities or duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Education / Experience / Credentials:

Bachelor's Degree in related computer field or equivalent work experience

4+ years of related experience in coding and testing software

Experience with BPO industry is a plus

Skills:

Experience in C# with WPF, ASP.Net MVC

Experience with Blazor, MAUI, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS is a plus

Experience integrating with and creating RESTful APIs.

Relational database experience working with MS SQL.

Experience in version control and change management. Experience using Azure DevOps is a plus.

Must be familiar with modern SDLC practices.

Working knowledge of writing testable and extensible code.
