Job Summary

The JD Edwards/Application Business Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing the JD Edwards ERP system. The role works closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions, manage system implementations, provide application support, conduct user training, and improve ERP functionality and business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Implement, configure, and continuously improve the JD Edwards ERP system.
  • Translate business processes into application workflows and configuration plans.
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration records.
  • Provide production support and resolve application incidents and service requests.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and the IT development team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and user experience.
  • Participate in technology implementation projects and solution rollouts.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training and training documentation.
  • Perform system testing, create test scripts, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Document new technologies, processes, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with JD Edwards ERP, including configuration, testing, and support.
  • Experience with General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Inventory, Sales, and related modules.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards administration and software design is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with ReportsNow is a plus.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Approximately 7 years of relevant experience preferred.
