Overview
As a Finance Analyst Intern, you will work side by side with experienced and execution-focused Finance professionals. Even as an Intern, you can become a value-added team member offering meaningful contributions to the company. Our Intern program attracts ambitious, high-caliber candidates who are seeking responsibility and a unique introduction to the world of Finance and Accounting
Responsibilities
This role will work closely with Sr. Finance/Accounting Manager (while interacting with other PPNDA Finance, Ops, and other functional leaders) on a variety of projects focused on financial reporting, accounting operations & transaction processing to start. There will be additional opportunities to support key business processes such as Month-end close, Business Planning, Budgeting and forecasting as well.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience through improving your communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Across these responsibilities you will receive direct, hands-on exposure to senior PPNDA leaders while working in a positive and supportive culture that encourages our people to do their best work every day.
What You'll Get to Do:
Project Support
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation, tracking and clean-up.
  • Lead the creation and upkeep of the PPNDA Finance/Accounting Digital SOP library.
  • Work closely to support project team activities as assigned by the project managers

Close & Business Planning Support
  • Assist with month-end closing responsibilities and any post close reporting
  • Support the team during the Business Planning cycle and preparation of data

What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:
  • Currenlty enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Competencies:
  • Ability to multi-task and be organized
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team on multiple tasks and assignments
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with a remote/in-office team

Communications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to interface with all internal departments and team members across the organizational hierarchy
