Description
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a food manufacturing environment.ย  Primary responsibility is in troubleshooting/resolving immediate issues, line/factory continuous operations, as well as, performing preventive and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements.

Experience

  • 2 years' work experience in an automated industrial manufacturing facility is preferredย (ideally, doing maintenance related work with packaging and/or processing equipment).
  • Thorough knowledge of:
    • Use and repair of motor controls, sensors, and gearboxes
    • Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
    • Basic principles of industrial maintenance
    • Use and repair of mechanical & conveying systems
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Industrial safety, machine safety and safeguarding techniques
    • Basic industrial math applications, principles and reasoning to solve problems
    • Basic principles of combustion
Education:
  • High school or GED: (High school courses in math, mechanical drawing and/or shop)
  • 2 years Technical or vocational training preferred
