Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team supporting our nation's Veterans by performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. We are looking for General Medicine Providers to provide care across various facilities and locations, offering options for per diem coverage or from your own office. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who value the well-being of Veterans.
Our organization plays a crucial role in ensuring Veterans receive the evaluations they deserve. If you are passionate about helping Veterans and have a compassionate approach to care, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
  • Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • Complete thorough reports and submit any necessary addendums.
  • Quickly credential and onboard with our organization.
  • Maintain high standards of care without prescribing medications or providing treatments.
  • Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
  • Possess a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
  • AANP certification is required.
  • Active and unrestricted full medical license is mandatory.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
  • Current home address must be provided for presentation.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Must have an active medical license.
  • DMA certification is required (completion is a must).
  • Current certification numbers should be provided.
