Apple Maps continues to evolve through ongoing innovation, becoming an increasingly intelligent platform that helps people navigate and understand the physical world. The Apple Maps Business team is seeking a Lead: Strategy, Analytics & Monetization to help shape strategy at the intersection of product, monetization, and user experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, using data to inform strategic decisions, and helping guide the direction of a scaled consumer product. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Engineering, and Marketing to evaluate opportunities, frame tradeoffs, and drive high-impact decisions across Apple Maps.

In this role, you will lead strategic analysis for monetization initiatives across Apple Maps and help determine where and how the business should invest. You will use data to assess product performance, user behavior, market opportunities, and launch outcomes, translating insights into recommendations that shape roadmap decisions, planning, go-to-market strategy, and market expansion.
You will also work across teams to shape strategy across monetization, KPI development, feature adoption and engagement, user journeys, and product prioritization. 8+ years of experience in business strategy, product analytics, business analytics, growth strategy, monetization strategy, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills, including KPI design and development, trend analysis, segmentation, experimentation, statistical methods, and insight synthesis.
Experience using data to evaluate product performance, user behavior, and monetization opportunities, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Experience building intuitive, decision-oriented dashboards, visualizations, and decision tools using BI platforms such as Tableau.
Exceptional Keynote and Excel skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into decision-ready recommendations for executive audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting complex findings to senior leaders in a concise, credible manner.
Strong organizational, program management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Proven ability to influence decisions in complex, matrixed organizations and drive work forward amid evolving priorities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,400 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
