Job description

The Apple Ads PMO team is looking for a versatile full-stack software engineer to build and own scalable internal systems that support how the Ads Engineering organization plans and operates. We are looking for a self-directed builder who can translate complex business needs into intuitive technical solutions and independently drive them from design through delivery and ongoing evolution.
Description
You will join the Apple Ads Program Management Office (PMO), which supports how the engineering organization plans, allocates resources, and operates at scale. You will build systems that support fiscal planning, headcount strategy, vendor management, and portfolio decision-making across Apple Ads. Working closely with EPMs, finance analysts, and engineering partners, you will have significant ownership of the applications you support, including architecture, development, integration, and continuous improvement.
Success in this role requires strong technical judgment, curiosity, and the ability to move quickly from ambiguous requirements to practical, scalable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years building and maintaining full-stack web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and SQL.
Strong development skills with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with backend data-store knowledge including PostgreSQL and Redis.
Demonstrated ownership of software applications or systems across design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Ability to independently translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Background building data-driven applications, dashboards, APIs, or backend processing pipelines.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Background developing internal tools, workflow platforms, automation, or operational systems.
Familiarity with Docker and modern application deployment practices.
Interest in and ability to incorporate emerging AI technologies, including LLM APIs, agentic workflows, or MCP, into practical software solutions.
Track record of building software for planning, portfolio management, finance, or other operational functions.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional background.
