Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

Outpatient clinic

Hospital

Patient Population:

Adults (18 years and older)

Occasional pediatric emergency testicular torsion cases while on call

Patient Volume:

Approximately 24–28 patients per clinic day

Combination of office visits and cystoscopy/stent procedures

Clinical Responsibilities:

Outpatient urology clinic

Hospital consultations

24-hour call coverage

General urologic procedures

Office-based procedures

Operative urologic care

Supervision of newly hired Advanced Practice Providers

Participation in robotic surgery if part of the provider's practice (not required)

Operating Rooms:

16 operating rooms across York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery Center

Required Procedures:

Vasectomy

Cystoscopy

Prostate procedures

Ureteroscopy

Lithotripsy

Orchiopexy

Additional Procedures:

Robotic surgery – Available but not required

Vasectomy reversal – Preferred but not required

Penile plication

Penile implants (rare)

Circumcision (rare pediatric call support if needed)

Support & Technology

One Registered Nurse

Supervision of newly hired Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology – Required

Active Pennsylvania License – Required

OR

Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification (LOQ) – Accepted
