Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm
Starting pay is $24 per hour
$50/month cell phone stipend
Tenure-based wage increases at five months ($1.00) and one year ($1.50)

Job Duties
  • Safely operate Ridwell high-roof cargo vans throughout the Bay Area
  • Complete assigned daily routes safely and efficiently, typically involving 125–150, or more, residential service stops.
  • Collect members' materials from designated bins at their homes
  • Assist with completing remaining stops after finishing your assigned route 
  • Navigate routes effectively using the provided smartphone apps
  • Maintain regular communication with our dedicated Driver Support team regarding route timing
  • Manage loading and unloading of vehicles efficiently
  • Deliver Ridwell bins and new member kits to members’ homes
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with Ridwell members
  • Work safely outdoors and in all weather conditions, various temperature extremes, including heat, cold, moisture, and wind
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures consistently
  • Support additional operational needs as they arise
  • Maintain positive communication with team members across all functions
  • A smartphone is required for GPS navigation and route management (phone stipend provided)
 
Job Requirements
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance - we count on each other to be here when scheduled so we can deliver excellent service as a team
  • Must be 21 years or older with a valid CA driver’s license for at least 3 years
  • Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions in English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must own and be able to use a smartphone and Google or Apple maps
  • Ability to communicate effectively digitally via text and email.
  • Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.
