You will be working on critical components of iCloud and introducing new fundamental capabilities. Your contributions will enable the development of entirely new applications and the scaling of existing ones, such as CloudKit, FaceTime, and PushNotifications, which serve as the foundation for products like iCloud Photos, Drive, and Backup.

As a high-leverage team, we are responsible for designing, building, and growing Apple’s foundational privacy-focused platform. This platform enables many of Apple’s signature applications and experiences and has a significant impact on over a billion users. Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable distributed systems
Industry experience with programming languages such as Java, Swift, C/C++, or Go
Experience in performance benchmarking, debugging, and tuning distributed systems
Experience in cloud deployment and observability technologies, such as Kubernetes
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
