Expert Desk Analyst (Service Desk / Application Support / Technical Support)Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Expert Desk Analyst to join a fast-paced, customer-focused support organization. This role is ideal for candidates with strong Help Desk, Service Desk, Application Support, Technical Support, or Contact Center Support experience who thrive in troubleshooting complex technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

The Expert Desk Analyst serves as a critical support partner to internal employees, providing high-touch technical assistance across a broad range of applications, systems, and technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-obsessed mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

This position supports a distributed workforce and requires expertise in diagnosing software, connectivity, application access, authentication, and collaboration platform issues. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, development, infrastructure, and operations teams to drive issue resolution and improve overall employee productivity.


Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Troubleshooting & Support
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for software, application, authentication, and connectivity issues.
  • Support remote employees in identifying and resolving technical problems impacting productivity.
  • Analyze and diagnose issues within distributed systems and enterprise applications.
  • Assist users with system access, permissions, account administration, and application onboarding.
  • Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying technical issues and prevent repeat incidents.
Incident & Service Management
  • Document all employee interactions, incidents, and service requests within ServiceNow.
  • Manage incidents through the complete lifecycle, ensuring accurate categorization, prioritization, documentation, and closure.
  • Monitor incoming tickets and proactively address aging incidents.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams while maintaining ownership and follow-through.
  • Escalate widespread outages and critical incidents to the Incident Management team.
Customer Experience & Communication
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, chat, Slack, and other asynchronous communication channels.
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Provide timely updates and status communications throughout the resolution process.
  • Advocate for employees and minimize downtime through proactive support and coordination.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner with developers, engineers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to resolve application issues.
  • Identify recurring trends and communicate support challenges to leadership and support teams.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
  • Contribute to Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS) documentation and knowledge base improvement efforts.
