We’re looking for a Product Designer who is passionate about user experience design and is ready to shape the future of these tools at Apple.
As a Product Designer on the Ads & Business design team, you’ll contribute to the design of intuitive, user-centered experiences for Apple’s suite of advertising and business tools. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate user needs and business requirements into thoughtful design solutions that help businesses operate more effectively and grow their presence within the Apple ecosystem. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about solving real-world problems, eager to hone their craft, and interested in expanding their influence through strong execution and collaboration. You’ll be encouraged to explore and iterate, contribute to design critiques, and work alongside a talented team to build high-quality, human-centered tools for a diverse range of users.
Description
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile platforms that support Apple’s business tools.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver thoughtful and effective user experiences.
- Participate in design critiques, user research, and testing activities to validate and refine design decisions.
- Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
- Contribute to design system discussions and apply shared patterns across your work to ensure consistency and quality.
- Seek opportunities to improve processes and tools that support the broader design team.
Preferred Qualifications
A portfolio that demonstrates strong design execution, clear thinking, and user-centered problem-solving.
Experience designing web-based tools or software that supports professionals or organizations.
Familiarity working within established design systems and contributing to their evolution.
Comfort working on multiple projects at once, and adapting to new information and priorities.
Interest in exploring new approaches and learning from experimentation, data, and feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of design experience in a design studio or as a product designer.
You have a solid portfolio and breadth of work that demonstrates your skill and you can confidently speak to your work.
You clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations.
You are highly skilled and fast in the tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work.
You thrive in an iterative design process and are motivated by group critique.
You excel in written and verbal communication and can present your work effectively to large groups and executives.
BA and/or equivalent experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
