ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEER II
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - WORLD HEADQUARTERS

In addition to Southfield, MI, we are open to hiring for this role in Hammond, IN or Louisville, KY. However, by Q4 2027 or Q1 2028, the selected candidate will be required to relocate to either Louisville, KY or Southfield, MI as part of the long-term location strategy for this role.
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for new product launch process and equipment and leading standardization and innovation initiatives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
  • Define assembly process according to customer and internal requirements
  • Maintain open issues list and drive completion
  • Lead cross functional teams supporting above activities
  • Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment
  • Estimate cost of product and process changes
  • Travel to support plants within North America 25% average, 50% peak

  • > 2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering
  • Labor analysis / work measurement
  • Line balancing
  • Plant layout using AutoCad Lt / 2D
  • Hands-on experience implementing change on production floor
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency
