Job description

We are looking for a skilled, highly organized Production Designer to translate approved creative into polished, accurate deliverables across brand, campaign, print, environmental, social, and digital touchpoints. This role is ideal for a designer with a four-year design degree and at least two years of agency experience who enjoys the craft of execution, understands how systems scale, and takes pride in getting every detail right.
You will work closely with the design team, senior leadership and cross-functional account, communications, and strategy teams. You should be comfortable managing a high volume of assignments, adapting work across formats, following established creative direction, and protecting quality when timelines move quickly. Experience producing website assets and other digital deliverables is a plus; front-end development is not required.

How We Work Qualifications
  • A four-year degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a closely related design discipline.
  • At least two years of professional design experience within a creative, advertising, branding, or marketing agency.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, brand consistency, production craft, and polished execution across print and digital media.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; working knowledge of Figma or a comparable interface-design tool.
  • Strong production knowledge, including prepress, bleeds, color modes, image resolution, file formats, packaging, proofing, and vendor specifications.
  • Experience producing websites, landing pages, emails, social media, and other digital assets, with a general understanding of UX/UI and how design translates across digital experiences. Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility, content management systems, and developer handoff is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, quality control, and time management, including the ability to handle repetitive or high-volume work without sacrificing accuracy.
  • The judgment to work independently within established creative direction and the confidence to ask questions when details or specifications are unclear.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both creative and non-creative teammates.
  • A dependable, owner-minded approach: you follow through, solve problems, and care about the client experience as much as the final deliverable.
  • Residence in the Baltimore/Washington, DC metro area, reliable transportation, and availability to work from our Cross Keys office on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m.โ€“3:30 p.m.
  • A creative and strategic mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, think critically about project goals, and identify opportunities to strengthen the work while executing within established creative direction.
