Job description

Minuteman Press – Norfolk, VA

Minuteman Press is hiring a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver & Production Assistant.
This is not just a delivery driver position. It is an opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in the printing, promotional-products, and custom-apparel industry. You will make deliveries, meet current and potential customers, assist in our bindery department, and help produce custom T-shirts and apparel.
Company vehicles—including a hatchback and Ram ProMaster City—are provided for deliveries.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver completed orders to current customers
  • Load and unload packages from company vehicles
  • Pick up customer materials, supplies, and vendor orders
  • Deliver welcome packets to schools, construction companies, churches, and other local businesses
  • Professionally represent Minuteman Press in the community
  • Assist in the bindery department with cutting, folding, stapling, collating, packaging, and finishing printed materials
  • Operate a heat press to produce printed T-shirts, hoodies, polos, and other apparel
  • Position DTF transfers correctly on garments
  • Inspect, count, fold, package, and label completed orders
  • Keep delivery vehicles and work areas clean and organized
  • Assist in other departments as needed
Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn different areas of the business
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Previous delivery, warehouse, printing, apparel, or production experience is helpful but not required
