RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking an Apparel Inventory Planner.
Summary:
A typical day/week for an Apparel Inventory Planner revolves around facilitating twice/month delivery planning process and ensure that materials are planned & purchased on the appropriate timelines under Demand Supply Management (DSM) function while supporting the marketplace supply strategy supporting global inventory health targets.
The Apparel Inventory Planner will be responsible for executing and managing supply commitments through creation of purchase orders (POs) for procurement of the finished goods and the management of buy exceptions. They will maintain any changes to POs, including product movement from factory to distribution center. The Planner will review POs for conformance to company policy and may address issues related to delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting analysis to proactively identify challenges, at the same time be able to tell a story, driving clarity for your key stakeholders thru key business metric; Will be asked to be the subject matter expert (SME) on projects and support key initiatives that have an impact to our day-to-day business
* Proactively drive actions to keep a healthy inventory position in the assigned business
* Leverage multiple reports and dashboards to review key metrics, escalate any issues that will cause unfulfilled demand and/or a delay to the expected timelines
* Report and communicate to consumer planning teams delivery expectations, solutions to risks and opportunities and driving inventory health/productivity
* Report into the Supply & Inventory Planning Sport Manager, working closely with Consumer teams and Inventory Operations team to ensure your inventory ownership supports the E2E targets
* Work closely with the Consumer Planning team, including Assortment Planning, Integrated Marketplace Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning as well as Global Supply Planning and Merchandising.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of supply/inventory planning, or supply chain experience required
* Excellent written, spoken and visual communication skills; Specifically, well demonstrated capability converting complex concepts into easy to interpret stories that resonate across a varied audience
* Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working, specifically in strategy deployment
* Superior interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills with the ability to work both cross-functionally and cross-culturally, specifically fostering productive relationships between key players and immediate team
* Validated analytical skills, finding relevant information within large data sets and create executive story
* Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
* Prior SAP ERP experience preferred
* Microsoft Power Business Intelligence experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of Tableau & Cognos
* Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environment
* Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstances
* Participate on projects, including system releases, as assigned
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
