  • Coverage Needs:
    • ASAP - Ongoing
  • Shifts:
    • Looking for Nocturnist
    • 7p-730a
    • Need 3 12-hour shifts per week
  • Setting:
    • Multi-specialty medical-surgical community hospital ICU
    • High acuity
  • Census:
    • 10-15 ICU patients per APP
  • Support Staff:
    • Attending Physician available
  • Procedures:
    • Collaborate with attending MDs to develop plan of care and communicate dynamic changes throughout shift
    • Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
    • Order entry (Cerner EMR) and thorough documentation of History and Physicals, Consultations, Event / Follow-up Notes and Procedure Notes
    • Interpret diagnostic testing
    • Communicate with ICU nursing staff
    • Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds each shift
    • Perform invasive procedures including, but not limited to, central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths and introducers) and arterial line insertions
