Job Title: Senior Integration Developer (IBM ACE /MQ)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 months contract role.

Pay Range: $55 - $59/hr. on W2

Job Description:

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, develop, and support high-volume, low-latency integration solutions for mission-critical systems. This role involves developing APIs, working with enterprise integration technologies, collaborating with analysts and application teams, and delivering solutions within agile development timelines.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and design scalable integration solutions.
  • Gather requirements from business analysts and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy API endpoints using API Connect v10.
  • Build, maintain, and support high-performance, highly available integration applications.
  • Develop efficient, well-designed, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, vendors, and application development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and support pre-production deployments.
  • Analyze and resolve development and production issues in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate solution options and provide buy-vs-build recommendations when needed.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Deliver development assignments within 2-week sprint cycles while meeting project timelines and quality standards.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of software development experience (7+ years in lieu of a degree).
  • Strong experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) development.
  • Experience with IBM MQ.
  • Experience developing APIs and working with XML, JSON, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with API Connect Version 10 (Required).

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce integration experience.
  • Experience with FHIR and/or HL7.
  • Experience integrating with EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic.
  • Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
