Job description

Float Pool Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
UNC Health is looking to hire a Primary Care APP (NP/PA) for its float pool. If you are looking to work short-term assignments to periodic assignments, this may be the opportunity for you. Part-time options (1-2 days) are also available.
Requirements:
  • Family Medicine/Primary Care APP
  • Licensed in North Carolina
  • 1 plus years of experience (minimum requirement)
  • Knowledge of Epic is a plus
  • Must work once every 90 days

Compensation: $60/hour
Locations: Around the Triangle and surrounding areas

Education Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
  • Demonstrated clinical competency.
  • Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
  • Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
