Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will be a pivotal force in delivering exceptional critical care within a state-of-the-art 8-bed combined ICU. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to thrive in a rapidly growing community.

Each shift you will be a key member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, utilizing your expertise as a practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher to promote and restore optimal patient health.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider with a strong background in intensive care, critical care, or emergency medicine. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive direct patient care

  • Collaborate and coordinate care

  • Educate and advocate for patients:

  • Maintain meticulous documentation and records

We are offering a competitive compensation package including $860.62 per shift plus RVU incentive pay, a $6,993 sign-on bonus, $10,000 relocation assistance, quality incentive bonus, CME funds, and a 401k with match.

Job Requirements

Required:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Two years of experience in gastroenterology highly preferred

  • Master’s degree in nursing as Nurse PractitionerRegistered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the Utah Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or subspecialty required.

  • RN License required

  • BLS from the American Heart Association required

  • ACLS from the American Heart Association required

  • Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan

Physician Assistant:

  • Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required

  • PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Utah required

  • BLS from the American Heart Association required

  • ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required

Preferred:

  • Two or more years prior experience in Critical Care, ICU, or ED.

Holy Cross Hospital – Mountain Point, serving northern Utah County since 2015, is a full-service, faith-based hospital offering comprehensive "whole person care" in Lehi. The facility, equipped with a 24/7 Level 3 Emergency Department, specializes in a wide array of services including cardiology, stroke care, general surgery, orthopedics, pain management, neurosurgery, neurology, urology, radiology/imaging, and extensive women's services.

The hospital is highly recognized for its quality and patient safety, having achieved a Leapfrog "A" Grade for four consecutive terms and earning the American Heart Association's Stroke Gold Plus Recognition for 2025. Beyond clinical services, Holy Cross Hospital – Mountain Point actively engages with the community through health-promoting programs, support groups, and a dedicated Health Equity & Advancement Fund, which provided $208,000 in community grants in 2025 to support underserved populations and advance social justice.
