This Opportunity

Project Orion is GISI Consulting Groupโ€™sstrategic technology transformation program focused on creating a single,standardized IT operating environment across its operating companies throughgovernance alignment, technology standardization, service consolidation, cybersecurityintegration, and migration to a centralized Microsoft 365 tenant. Theinitiative is designed to improve business and IT alignment, simplifytechnology operations, establish common architectures and service models, andenable a future global IT-as-a-Service organization.

GISI CG is seeking a Project Manager, ProjectOrion to support their efforts to standardize, simplify and unify itsoperating companyโ€™s IT infrastructure into a single, centralized environment. Therole will provide management support to the projectโ€™s activities, including allactive workstreams. The PM will monitor and control the projectโ€™simplementation, ensuring the activities are completed on time.

Please note this is a corporate fixed-term 12-monthrole with the potential for extension.

Location

The position is based in GISI's Arlington, VA office. Candidates must have current work authorization inthe US as we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time. This is a hybrid position, with most work undertaken remotely. Thesuccessful candidate will be expected to attend the office from time to time,including on short notice, so applicants must live within commuting distance ofthe office.

Compensation

The full-timeannual base salary for this position is expected to range from $90,000 to $98,000.Please be advised that a final salary offer will be based on various factors,including but not limited to your qualifications, education, experience,skills, seniority, performance, and Palladiumโ€™s business or organizationalneeds.

Reporting Lines
  • The Project Manager reports to the SVP, IT Operations
  • This role will work closely with workstream leaders, key project stakeholders, and is part of GISI CGโ€™s Project Orionโ€™s implementation team
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain andmonitor compliance with Project Orionโ€™s consolidated workplan, trackingmilestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery gates
  • Ensure alignmentbetween activities of the active workstreams
  • Coordinateactivities between the projectโ€™s leadership and the different workstreams,facilitating the logistics for meetings, planning sessions, workshops, andexecution reviews
  • Maintain decisionlogs, action logs, and approval records
  • Resolve schedulingconflicts and resource constraints between workstreams
  • Support decisiongate activities, ensuring all operational, technical, communications, andchange management requirements have been met
  • Maintain theprojectโ€™s risk register, including tracking mitigation actions andresolution plans
  • Monitor readinessgaps that could impact timeline, costs, or operational continuity
  • Track resourceutilization across workstreams and budget compliance
  • Provide weekly andmonthly status reports and any other as needed
  • Report milestoneprogress, resourcing status, risks, decisions, and budget impacts
  • Support executivereviews and governance meetings with fact-based reporting
